This page shows how faculty and students can create a click-able link in BlackBoard. In the example we will post a link to a Youtube video in a discussion forum.
On the webpage to which you want to link, highlight and copy the URL (address).
In Blackboard open the Message box in which you want to post the link.
Paste the URL into the Message box.
Highlight the URL.
Click the "link" icon in the editing tools.
In the window that opens paste the URL in the Link Path box.
Click Insert.
If prompted to open the link in its own window, click OK.
Now the URL in your Message box is blue and underlined - meaning it is click-able.
Click submit to post your message.
